Santa Clarita Sports Report: May 07, 2015

Santa Clarita Sports Report: May 07, 2015 – The Hart baseball team beat Golden Valley, 8-2, in a Foothill League game.

Dayton Provost went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Hart. Jack Ralston gave up two hits and struck out six for the win.

The Valencia baseball team shut out Canyon, 4-0. Kevin Chandler went the distance for the complete game shutout for Valencia.

The Saugus baseball team beat West Ranch, 4-2. Saugus scored two runs in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie. Caden Maher broke the deadlock with an RBI single.

In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Houston Rockets, 115-109, in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Blake Griffin scored 34 points in the loss. The Clippers played without Chris Paul, who sat out his second game in a row with an injured hamstring.

Los Angeles Sports

The series is tied at a game apiece. Game 3 is at Staples Center on Friday night.

In the major leagues, the Dodgers lost to the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-3. The Brewers scored five runs in the first inning.

The Dodgers have lost two of three games against the Brewers. They wrap up their series today.

Carlos Frias starts for the Dodgers against Mike Fiers for the Brewers. First pitch is at 10:40 this morning.
