Santa Clarita Sports Report: May 14, 2015 – The West Ranch and Valencia boys tennis teams won their first-round matches in the CIF Southern Section Division 2 playoffs.

Hart lost in the first round.

West Ranch defeated Charter Oak to advance to the second round.

The Valencia boys knocked out Diamond Ranch.

Hart lost to Diamond Bar.

The second round matches are on Friday.

In high school baseball, Hart beat Saugus, 4-2, in extra innings to win the Foothill League title.

Jake Lewis hit a two-run home run for Hart.

The Valencia baseball team beat Golden Valley, 7-1, and won its fourth game in a row.

Valencia finished in second place in the Foothill League.

West Ranch shut out Canyon, 4-0, in their Foothill League finale.

In the NBA, the Clippers take on the Houston Rockets in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals.

The Clippers lead the series, 3-2. The game is at Staples Center. Tipoff is at 7:30.

Los Angeles Sports

In the major leagues, the Dodgers lost to the Miami Marlins, 5-4, and had their five-game winning streak snapped.

The Dodgers are back on the field tonight to start a weekend series against the Colorado Rockies.

Brett Anderson starts for the Dodgers against Chad Bettis for the Rockies.

First pitch is at 7:10.
