Santa Clarita High School Football

CIF polls for Week Eight are out and there is some movement among the Santa Clarita Valley teams.

Valencia is up one spot to 5th in Division 2, riding a three-game Foothill League winning streak.

Saugus’ first loss of the season to league rival Valencia dropped the team from 2nd in Division 6 to 4th.

Golden Valley remains 7th in Division 7 after its win over Canyon.

Lancaster Baptist vs Santa Clarita Christian

TMU Women’s Soccer

The Mustangs host Westmont looking to snap the Warriors’ five-game winning streak. Kickoff is at 3:00 from Reese Field.

Justin moved to the San Fernando Valley from the Inland Empire in 2011 to complete his BA of Communications degree at California State University, Northridge. Just a few months after getting his degree he moved to Valencia and started as an intern at AM-1220 KHTS, and was promoted to Sports Reporter within a year.
