West Ranch (7-9, 1-1) vs Valencia (4-2, 1-1)

Hart (3-6, 2-0) vs Canyon (5-3, 0-2)

3 Saugus (8-2, 2-0) vs Golden Valley (4-9, 0-2)

Trinity Classical Academy (4-4, 2-0) vs Faith Baptist (5-3, 2-0)

CIF – Southern Section polls for this week:

Division II

Valencia (4-0) comes in at No. 2 for the second week in a row, but could reclaim its No. 1 ranking with a road win at No. 7 Calabasas (No. 1 Upland is on a bye week).

Division VI

Golden Valley (3-2) is unmoved at No. 4. The Grizzlies are on a bye this week.

Division IX

West Ranch (4-0) stays at No. 4. The Wildcats are on a bye this week.

Division XIII

Santa Clarita Christian (4-0) enters the top ten this week at No. 6. The Cardinals face Trinity Classical Academy in the Faith Bowl on Saturday.

COC Soccer

Both Cougars soccer teams are away at Santa Barbara City College. The ladies kickoff at 2:00 and the men at 7:00.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers offense exploded for nine runs and Yu Darvish struck out nine batters in seven innings to defeat the Padres, 9-3, for win No. 100 of the 2017 season.

Logan Forsythe had a 3-for-3 night with a homer and four RBI.

Two games left against the Padres this season. Tonight, Alex Wood (15-3, 2.71 ERA) is on the mound for his last start of the regular season. First pitch is at 7:10, and be sure to catch the action live on your Dodgers station, KHTS.

Strange But True: Monday was the Dodgers biggest scoring output since scoring nine runs on July 19 against the Chicago White Sox.

Justin moved to the San Fernando Valley from the Inland Empire in 2011 to complete his BA of Communications degree at California State University, Northridge. Just a few months after getting his degree he moved to Valencia and started as an intern at AM-1220 KHTS, and was promoted to Sports Reporter within a year.
