CIF Southern Section Football And Volleyball Rankings For The Week

CIF Southern Section Football Polls

Division IV

10 Saugus (3-0) enters the top ten (No. 10) for the first time this season after shutting out Buena 51-0 last week. The Centurions have outscored their first three opponents 165-26 and host Thousand Oaks (0-3) on Friday.

Division VI

3 West Ranch (3-0) moves up three spots from sixth to third after defeating St. Genevieve 46-24 last week. The Wildcats face Royal (0-3) on Friday.

Division XII

7 Santa Clarita Christian (2-1) enters the top ten at No. 7 after a 47-14 win over Northgate last Saturday. The Cardinals are a one point loss at St. Bernard from a perfect record and have won 12 of their last 13 games.

CIF Southern Section Volleyball Polls

Division III

5 Hart (4-1) is unchanged from last week at No. 5. The Indians open on Thursday against rival Valencia.

Division VIII

4 SCCS (1-1) opens Heritage League play tonight against Faith Baptist unchanged from last week’s polls.

7 Trinity Classical Academy (8-1-1) was rewarded for its 5-0 start to the season, their only loss coming in the Desert Christian Tournament semifinals to Southlands Christian.
