Santa Clarita Sports: Santa Clarita Christian Girls Soccer Win 10 In A Row

The Santa Clarita Christian girls soccer team shut out Concordia from Sylmar, 10-0, and won their 10th game in a row.

Maya Rauch scored three goals and had two assists for Santa Clarita Christian. The Cardinals have an unbeaten 12-0-2 record this season and they are 3-0 in Liberty League play.

The Santa Clarita Christian girls have a 22-game unbeaten streak. They have not lost a match since January of 2013.

Santa Clarita High School Sports Santa Clarita Sports - Valencia High Basketball

Lauren Gallagher leads the Santa Clarita Christian girls with 30 goals and 12 assists in 14 games. She had a goal and an assist against Concordia.

In high school basketball, the Hart and Valencia boys meet tonight in a match-up of Foothill League undefeated teams.

Hart and Valencia are both 3-0. Hart is coming off an 84-61 win over Golden Valley on Tuesday.  Valencia easily handled Canyon, 81-49, for their third league win.

The game is at Valencia High. Tipoff is at 6:30.

The Canyon boys will look to rebound against Saugus. Canyon lost its first league game against Valencia and had its 15-game winning streak snapped.

Los Angeles Sports Report

In the NBA, the Lakers lost to the Miami Heat, 109-102. The Lakers have lost eight of their past 10 games and are 3-14 in their past 17 games.

They continue their road trip tonight in Orlando for a game against the Magic.

In the NHL, the Kings lost to the Anaheim Ducks, 2-1. The Kings have lost four games in a row and five of their past seven.

The Kings and Ducks face off again on Saturday at Dodger Stadium.
