The Master’s College baseball team lost two games in the Golden State Athletic Conference tournament and was eliminated.
The Mustangs, ranked No. 12 in the NAIA, lost the first game, 1-0, in 11 innings to Vanguard. They lost the second game, 6-3, to Westmont.
The Master’s College entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed.
The Mustangs will prepare for the NAIA national tournament that starts on May 12.

In high school softball, the West Ranch softball team beat Hart, 4-2, and improved to 6-0 in the Foothill League.
West Ranch took a 3-0 lead in the third inning and was up 4-0 in the seventh. Hart scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to cut the lead in half, but fell short of completing the comeback.
Hart dropped to 0-6 in the Foothill League.
The Saugus softball team beat Valencia, 15-3. Cassidy Fitzgerald went 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs for Saugus.
The Centurions are in second place in the Foothill League at 5-1. Valencia is in third place at 3-3.
In high school tennis, the West Ranch boys beat Valencia, 12-6, and won the Foothill League championship. The Wildcats snapped Valencia’s nine-year streak as league champion.

In the NBA, the Clippers lost to the Golden State Warriors, 100-99, in Game 6 of the opening round of the NBA playoffs.
The series is tied 3-3. Game 7 is at Staples Center on Saturday.
In the major leagues, the Dodgers swept a doubleheader against the Twins in Minnesota.
The Dodgers won the first game, 9-4, and the second game, 4-3 in 12 innings.
The Dodgers are off to Miami to start a weekend series against the Marlins tonight.
Josh Beckett starts for the Dodgers against Tom Koehler for the Marlins.
