The Hart baseball team is ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 poll. Hart is undefeated at 4-0 in the Foothill League and 10-0-1 overall.
Hart plays Saugus to wrap up the first round of Foothill League play on Wednesday.
West Ranch is ranked No. 5 in the Southern Section Division 1 poll. The Wildcats are 3-1 and in second place in the Foothill League standings.
West Ranch plays Canyon on Wednesday.

The Santa Clarita Christian baseball team is ranked No. 1 in the Southern Section Division 7 poll. The Cardinals are 6-0. They take on Trinity Classical Academy at the Hart PONY Complex tonight.
First pitch is at 4:15.
In high school volleyball, the Valencia boys cracked the top 10 in the Southern Section Division 1 poll. The Vikings are ranked No. 10. Huntington Beach is the No. 1 team in the Division 1 poll.
In high school tennis, the Valencia and West Ranch boys are ranked in the top 10 of the Southern Section Division 2 poll.
Valencia is ranked No. 9. West Ranch is No. 10. San Marino is the No. 1 team in Division 2.
In auto racing, Jack Hawksworth, the driver for Bryan Herta Autosport in the Verizon IndyCar Series, finished in 21st place in the season opener in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Hawksworth, making his series debut for the team owned by Valencia’s Bryan Herta, started eighth and ran in the top 10 for the first 22 laps of the race. But he collided with another car on a restart on lap 82 and was knocked out of the race.

In the NBA, the Clippers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 114-104, and won their third game on a row, all on the road.
Next up for the Clippers are the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.
In the major leagues, the Dodgers play the Padres in San Diego this afternoon. Zack Greinke starts for the Dodgers against Ian Kennedy for the Padres. First pitch is at 3:40.
In the NHL, the Los Angeles Kings lost to the Minnesota Wild, 3-2, and had their six-game winning streak snapped.
The Wild scored two goals in the third period to win the game.
The Kings take on the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday.
