The College of the Canyons women’s soccer team has a new coach. Those familiar with the program will recognize his name, Justin Lundin.
Lundin has been an assistant at COC for the past three years. He has worked with Phil Marcellin, the men’s and women’s soccer coach. Marcellin will continue to be the men’s coach. The change is being made so Marcellin can focus solely on coaching the men’s team.

The NCAA men’s basketball tournament begins later this week with a bit of local flavor. Andre Murray, who played at COC, is on the Portland State team, the 13th seed in the Eastern Regional. Portland State plays fourth-seeded Xavier in Boise, Idaho, on Friday.
