The Saugus girls soccer team remained undefeated in Foothill League play with a 3-2 win over Hart.
Saugus scored the first three goals of the game. Colleen Ortega, Ysabel Padron and Sarah Sager each scored a goal for Saugus. Sager’s goal in the 51st minute gave Saugus a 3-0 lead.
But Hart rallied for two second-half goals. Allie Leon scored the first goal for Hart in the 55th minute. Freshman Destinney Duron cut the Saugus lead to one with a goal in the 73rd minute.
Saugus improved to 3-0 in league play. Hart lost its first league game of the season and dropped to 0-1-2.

The West Ranch boys soccer team beat Golden Valley, 2-1. Tylar Simone and Josh Torres scored the goals for West Ranch. Torres gave his team a one-goal lead off an assist from Brandon Dooley.
Golden Valley’s Andy Ruiz tied the game, 1-1, with a goal late in the first half.
The Hart boys soccer team beat Saugus, 4-1. Four different players scored for Hart. Sammy Reyes, Andrew Trejo, Nico Ferrero and Gabe Robinson notched goals for Hart, which improved to 2-0-1 in Foothill League play.
The Valencia boys soccer team kept its unbeaten streak alive in league play with a 2-2 tie against Canyon. Valencia’s Kyle Johnson scored the game-tying goal in stoppage time at the end of the game.
Canyon’s Mohammad Roknipour scored both goals for Canyon.
Valencia ran its league record to 2-0-1 with the tie. Canyon is 1-1-1.
The Santa Clarita Christian boys soccer team lost to Grace Brethren, 3-2. Wesley Waggoner scored the first goal of his career for Santa Clarita Christian. Daniel Stratton also scored for Santa Clarita Christian.
The Lakers lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 109-100, behind a double-double from Jason Kidd. He scored 21 points and had 10 assists as the Mavericks snapped a six-game losing streak.
Pau Gasol scored 23 points and Kobe Bryant matched Kidd with 21 points and 10 assists in the loss.
The Kings are home for a game against the Phoenix Coyotes tonight. The Kings lost two games on the road and have lost nine of their past 11 games.
The Coyotes haven’t been playing any better lately either. They have lost two straight, most recently 5-2 to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.
