Saugus Girls Volleyball Team Faces Top-Ranked Brentwood Today

sportslocalThe Saugus High School girls volleyball tournament begins today with the host Centurions playing Brentwood, the top-ranked team in the CIF Southern Section Division 3-AA poll.

Saugus will also play Louisville and L.A. Baptist before the elimination rounds begin on Friday.

 

The Santa Clarita Christian girls volleyball team won its sixth match in a row on Tuesday. The girls swept Sierra Canyon in three games.

Santa Clarita Christian, the No. 2 team in the CIF Southern Section Division 5-AA poll, will play in the Joshua Springs tournament this weekend.

Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer will be speaking about his experiences in sports and his experiences in life at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Canyon Country on Sunday. The event is free and is scheduled to start at 4:30.
