The Saugus girls volleyball team rallied to beat Hart in four games in a Foothill League match last night. Hart won the first game of the match, but Saugus came back to win the next three and improve to 2-0 in league.
Ashley Pagan led Saugus with seven kills and four blocks. Hart’s Amy King led her team with seven kills.
The Valencia girls beat Canyon in four games to win their first Foothill League match of the season.
Valencia won the first two games of the match, but Canyon took the third game, 26-24, before losing the fourth game, 25-12.
Serena LeDuff and Sierra Sanchez each had 10 kills to lead Valencia. Canyon’s Morgan Fay had a team-high 10 kills and four aces.

The Foothill League is back in action again tonight in girls volleyball. Saugus travels to Canyon, West Ranch is at Hart and Valencia is at Golden Valley.
The Trinity Classical Academy girls are in the Milken Volleyball Tournament.
The Santa Clarita Christian girls are home against Hillcrest Christian.
The Canyon football team takes its undefeated record on the road for a game against Dos Pueblos in Goleta tonight.
Canyon, the No. 2 ranked team in the CIF Southern Section Northern Division poll, is coming off a 56-6 win over Beverly Hills.
Goleta is 0-5 and lost to Rio Mesa last week.
The Golden Valley football team is home for a game against San Marino at Canyon High School. The Grizzlies lost to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 42-0, last week.
San Marino is 2-2 and is coming off a 35-24 loss to Bell Gardens.
In girls golf, Hart and Valencia are in the Magnolia Park Optimist Tournament at DeBell Golf Course in Burbank today.
