Saugus won three games in the Valley Invitational Baseball League last week and moved up to second place in the summer standings.
Saugus beat the Gas House Gang, 10-4, Royal, 4-1, and La Canada, 11-0.
The Centurions are 12-4 in the summer baseball league. Valley North is in first place in the Valley Invitational Baseball League standings with a 10-1 record.

The Hart baseball team went 3-0 last week with wins over the Rojos, Burroughs and Canyon. The Indians are in fourth place with a 14-5 record.
Canyon is in eighth place in the Valley Invitational Baseball League standings with an 8-6 record.
In volleyball, Valencia High graduate Nick Ferry and the United States men’s team finished in 19th place at the World University Games in Russia.
The United States men’s volleyball team lost its first six matches before defeating Macau, 3-1, on Sunday.
Ferry, a libero on the United States team, had a match-high 22 digs against Korea.
In hockey, the Kings traded for Daniel Carcillo from the Chicago Blackhawks. The Kings sent a conditional 2015 draft pick to the Blackhawks.
In baseball, the American League shut out the National League, 3-0, in the All Star Game at Citi Field in New York.
New York Yankees reliever Mariano Rivera, making his final All Star Game appearance, was the MVP of the game. He pitched a scoreless eighth inning to preserve the shutout for the American League.
Clayton Kershaw, the lone Dodger on the National League All Star team, pitched a perfect third inning.
The National League managed only three hits in the game and lost for the first time in four years.
The Dodgers return to the field on the road against the Washington Nationals on Friday.
