The Saugus girls
soccer team dominated the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs. It should
come as no surprise that the girls would dominate the Division II postseason
awards. Erin Ortega earned offensive player of the year honors, Jamie Molacek
was named defensive player of the year and Lisa Rollo was picked as the coach
of the year. Saugus won its first
CIF soccer championship and advanced to the Regional Tournament for the first
time in school history.
