Their opponent, Harvard-Westlake, finished in third place in the Mission League, behind Flintridge Sacred Heart and Chaminade.

Saugus and Harvard-Westlake will meet at Warren High School in Downey on Friday night to decide the Division II champion. Game time is 7:30.

Vasquez High in Acton will also be playing for a CIF girls soccer championship. They face Alverno High on Friday night at 7 in the Division VII final at Mission Viejo High School.

In college hockey, the College of the Canyons won its first game of the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division III national championship tournament yesterday. They squeaked past Albany, 6-5. Next up for COC is Grand Valley, 3-2 winners over Georgia Tech.
