At 5:24 into the 3rd Period Tom Gilbert made it a 3-0 game. Team Captain Dustin Brown put the Kings on the board at 6:39, then Jarret Stoll made it a one point game at 12:03. Adding to the excitement, Michael Handzus tied the game at 17:26. The 3-3 tie went scoreless in overtime. Michael Handzus made his first goal for the Kings in the Shoot-Out, however that was their only score.
