After a handfull of lead changes, with several pitching changes, the Marlins came back in the bottom of the 9th inning, scoring 3 runs to take the 7-6 win over the Dodgers.
With stand-out hits, like Garrett Anderson’s massive double in the 3rd inning, still hurting Andre Ethier’s single to drive in two runs in the top of the 8th inning, and Manny Rameriez’s 2,500th career hit, the bull pen could not hold on to the lead and allowed the Marlins to come back from a 6-4 deficit in the top of the 9th, as they score three runs in the bottom of the 9th. The winning run was scored on a sacrifice fly by Jorge Cantu.
The Dodgers will be back in action against the Marlins Sunday morning, with the pre-game show starting at 9:30AM on your Hometown Station AM1220.
