Thursday, the Dodgers returned to Los Angeles to open a three game series with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Dodgers knocked runs in during the first, third, fourth and eighth innings with two runs knocked in by a Matt Kemp homer in the ninth but L.A. came up short. St. Louis went on to take game one. 9 to 5 was the final.
