April 18 2011: Dodgers Beat Braves 4-2

 

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 4-2. Good hitting in the early innings and great pithcing by Ted Lilly helped secure a 4-run lead throughout the game.The Dodgers scored three runs in the first inning with a 2-run single by Matt Kemp, and a sacrifice fly by James Loney. Rookie Jerry Sands started his career in the Major Leagues 2-4 with a double, and a sacrifice fly the scored Juan Uribe. Jonathan Broxton came in for the save, gave up two runs, but held off the Braves for the win.

Tomorrow night we will be airing game 3 of the Kings playoff series against the San Jose Sharks. Tune in at 7 pm as the Kings look to take a series lead of 2-1 on your Hometown Station KHTS AM-1220.
