The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Atlanta Braves 4-2. Good hitting in the early innings and great pithcing by Ted Lilly helped secure a 4-run lead throughout the game.The Dodgers scored three runs in the first inning with a 2-run single by Matt Kemp, and a sacrifice fly by James Loney. Rookie Jerry Sands started his career in the Major Leagues 2-4 with a double, and a sacrifice fly the scored Juan Uribe. Jonathan Broxton came in for the save, gave up two runs, but held off the Braves for the win.
