The Canucks got off to a very fast start in game 3 of the Stanley Cup Play-Offs in LA. However, it’s not how the game begins, it’s how it ends.
The Canucks Mason Raymond scored first and fast, but Michael Handzus tied the score within just a few minutes. In the second period, Brad Richardson gave the Kings a 2-1 lead. Handzus scored his second goal of the night, then Drew Doughty made it 4-1. Mikael Samualsson ended the second peiod by giving the Canucks another goal, making it a 4-2 game. The beginning of the third period gave the Kings a scare when Daniel Sedin made it a 4-3 game. It wasn’t long before Ryan Smith gave the Kings their insurance goal, making it a 5-3 game. That was the final score for this game, but the Kings and Canucks will play again from The Kings home ice on Wednesday evening. The pre-game show starts at 6:30 with the game starting at 7:00.
