In the bottom of the first inning, The Nationals Nyjer Morgan hit a lead off, stand up triple. He was brought home on a long single by Adam Kennedy, and The Nationals never looked back.
The Dodgers did manage to tie it up in the top of the forth, but Adam Dunn hit the first of his two home runs of the game in the bottom of the inning, re-taking the lead, as it turned out, for good. The Nationals put 3 more runs on the board, with the final score Dodgers 1, Nationals 5.
Game two of the three game series is Saturday morning. Tune in to AM1220 KHTS, your Hometown Station at 10AM for all of the action.
