The Mets scored one in the bottom of the second when a wild pitch scored David Wright from third base. In the bottom of the fourth inning Jason Bay bit a solo homer. In the bottom of the seventh, The Mets faced three different Dodgers pitchers and managed to put two more runs on the board when Luis Castillo’s base hit drove in Rod Barajas and Jeff Francoeur. As it turned out, that was all of the scoring in the game with the final score The Dodgers shut out by The Mets 4-0.
