After a quick start the the Dodgers were leading the Phillies 6-0 after three innings.  But the Phillies battled back scoring three runs in the forth, two in the fifth and broke things open in the sixth with four Phillies touching the plate.  The boys in blue did all of that they could but it was too little too late and they couldn’t avoid the sweep, losing 9-8.

This was the Dodgers fifth loss in seven games and they now leave the west coast for a 10 game road trip.  The Dodgers will be off tomorrow night but Friday they start a three game set in Houston to take on the Astros.  Coverage for Friday’s game can be heard right here on your Hometown Station AM1220 KHTS.  Pregame begins at 6:30 p.m., first pitch is set for 7:10 p.m.
