August 23 2011: Dodgers Beat Cardinals 13-2

It was a great night for the Dodgers and their offense as the dominated the Cardinals Tuesday night and win game two in the series. The Dodger’s batting was on fire as they scored eight runs within the first three innings. Matt Kemp hits his 30th home run for the season while Rod Barajas hits two home runs in the 3rd and 5th innings. Aaron Miles would top it off in the 9th inning when he hit a two run home run in which Andre Ethier would score a run. A outstanding pitching performance by Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw as he kept the Cardinals scoreless until the bottom of the 9th inning but by then it was way too late for the Cardinals. The final score was 13-2. Tune in Wednesday August 24 at 10:30am as the Dodgers take on the Cardinals for the sweep here on your hometown station AM-1220, KHTS.
