The Dodgers played an amazing game today, beating the Colorado Rockies 7-6. The Rockies were the first to get on the scoreboard with three runs in the third inning, and by the Top of the Sixth, The Dodgers were trailing 4-0. Then suddenly, the boys in blue made an astounding five runs, in the Bottom of the Sixth, turning the game upside down, leading by a single run. Success didn’t last long, when Colorado’s Troy Tulowitzki struck a homer the very next inning with Carlos Gonzales on first. Changing the scoreboard yet agian to 6-4 and the Rockies stayed in the lead all the way into the Bottom of the Nineth. Amazingly, James Loney struck a homer, just narrowly tying the score in the final inning sending the game into overtime. The score stayed tied 6-6 until Matt Kemp plowed a homer in the Bottom of the Eleventh, ending the game with a 7-6 Dodgers victory.
