The Kings get an early Christmas gift as they dominated the Avalanche Tuesday night in Denver. Rod Scuderi scored the first goal midway through the first period. During the second period, Brad Richardson scored a goal increasing the King’s lead to 2-0. The Kings never looked back as Dustin Brown scored twice during the third period. Then Justin Williams put the cherry on top with a goal late in the third period. King’s goalie Jonathan Quick had 23 saves and records his third shutout of the season. The final score was 5-0.
