December 6 2011: Kings Lose To Ducks 3-2

It was a heartbreaking loss for the King’s as they faced off with their cross-town rivals the Anaheim Ducks Tuesday night. The Ducks got on the board first with two goals by Bobby Ryan and Corey Perry in the 1st period. The Kings would comeback and score a goal by Slava Voynov in the first few seconds in the 2nd period. Then Justin Williams would score a goal for the Kings to tie the game in the 3rd period. As luck would have it, Bobby Ryan would score the winning goal for the Ducks as the puck deflected off of a King’s player and into the King’s net in the final seconds of the game. The final score was 3-2. Be sure to tune in on December 8th at 7pm as the Los Angeles Kings take on the Minnesota Wild here on your hometown station AM-1220, KHTS.
