January 19 2012: Kings Lose To Flames In A Shootout 2-1

The Kings end up on the wrong side of a shootout against the Calgary Flames Thursday night at Staples Center. Dustin Brown scored the first goal of the game for the Kings in the 1st period to put the kings up by one. In the 2nd period, Jerome Iginla scored his 502nd goal against the King’s and would tie the game. As the game went into a shootout, the Kings could not keep up with the Flames and the game winning goal was scored by Mike Cammalleri for the Flames. The final score was 2-1. Tune in Saturday January 21st at 7pm as the Kings take the Colorado Avalanche at Staples Center here on your hometown station AM-1220, KHTS.
