The Dodgers could not keep up with the Giants Tuesday night as they lose 4 in a row. The Giants scored first with hits by Brandon Belt and Madison Bumgarner which put the Giants up by 2 runs in the 2nd inning. However, the Dodgers would come back and take the lead in the 3rd inning with hits by Tony Gwynn and Rafael Furcal putting the Dodgers up by 1 run. The Giants  would tie the game in the 5th inning with a single by Pablo Sandoval in which Mike Fontenot scored. Then the Giants would put the final nail in the coffin with a double by Brandon Belt which put the Giants up by 2 runs and which put away the Dodgers for the night. The final score was 5-3.
