In the top of the 8th inning with the score 7-3 in favor of the Reds, Matt Kemp stepped up to the plate with bases loaded and two outs. Kemp hit his 6th career grand slam home run to tie the game at 7 apiece. It was his second home run of the game. The Dodgers scored four more in the 11th inning to win the game.
