September 27 2011: Dodgers Lose To Diamondbacks In Extra Innings 7-6

It was a heartbreaking lose for the Dodgers as the Diamondbacks come from behind to win it. The game was quiet until the 7th inning when Dee Gordon hit a single line drive to left field in which Eugenio Velez scores putting the Dodgers up by one run. Then the Diamondbacks would tie the game at the bottom of the 7th inning when Lyle Overbay hit a double in which Chris Young scored a run. As the game went into the 10th inning, the Dodgers would score 5 runs and took a commanding 6-1 lead over the Diamondbacks. The Dodger’s pitching fell apart as they got the bases loaded and Ryan Roberts hit a grand slam to win the game for the Diamondbacks. The final score was 7-6.
