Labor Day proved to be a flat day for the Dodgers as they lose to the Nationals Monday afternoon and increase their losing streak to two games. The Dodgers got on the board first with a double by Matt Kemp in which Jamey Carroll scored a run in the 1st inning but that would be it for the Dodgers. The Nationals scored 4 runs just in the 1st inning and 3 of those hits were home runs. Then the Nationals scored a home run in the 6th inning and scored runs in the 7th and 8th innings. At the top of the 9th inning, Justin Sellers hits a double for the Dodgers in which A.J. Ellis scored a run but it was too little too late for the Dodgers. The final score was 7-2. Tune in Tuesday September 6th at 3:30pm as the Dodgers take on the Nationals here on your hometown station AM-1220, KHTS.
