Sign your child up for an experience of a lifetime at the Dodger Youth Baseball Camp, held at Dodger Stadium! If you live in Santa Clarita and have a burgeoning youngster who loves to play the game, this is a chance for them to learn from some of the Dodger greats. The camp features daily instruction from the team’s major league coaching staff along with special guest appearances from past and present players.
In the summer of 2009 guest appearances were made by Clayton Kershaw, Tommy Lasorda, and Andre Ethier. Dodger legends “Sweet” Lou Johnson, Al Downing, Lee Lacy, Rudy Law, Bobby Castillo, Kenny Landreuax, Bill Russell, and Wes Parker also joined the coaching staff to help the campers work on hitting, fielding, base running, throwing, pitching, sportsmanship, teamwork, and conditioning.
Each camper receives an official camp uniform the first day of camp, along with 4 tickets in the reserve level to the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds game on Saturday August 21, 2010.
As Session 1 of the camp is sold out, the Dodgers organization is operating on a first-come, first-served basis for Session 2, which runs from August 3-6.
Enrollment is open to boys and girls, ages 7-12, as of July 20, 2010. All proceeds will benefit the Dodgers Dream Foundation.
