The Master’s College Men’s Basketball Eliminated In First Round Of Conference Tournament

khts_sportsThe Master’s College men’s basketball team lost to Concordia, 70-60, and was eliminated in the first round of the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament.

Anthony Cammon scored a team-high 18 points for The Master’s College. He led four players from The Master’s College in double figures.

The Master’s College finished with a 13-18 overall record.

The Master’s College baseball team was no-hit by Vanguard starter Antonio Peraza and lost 8-0. Peraza walked three batters and struck out six.

The College of the Canyons baseball team beat Allan Hancock College, 14-5. Kasey Toven had a huge day going 3-for-5 and driving in five runs.

COC starter Troy Neiman went six innings and struck out nine. He gave up four runs on six hits and walked two.

The Saugus boys volleyball team lost to Chaminade in four games. Saugus won the first game, but lost the next three.

Matt Coleman recorded a team-high 14 kills for Saugus.

The Hart boys tennis team ended with an 8-8 tie against Quartz Hill in a match that was suspended because of darkness.

The Dodgers lost to the Cincinnati Reds, 3-1, in spring training in Arizona. Dodger starter Hiroki Kuroda pitched into the third inning and allowed two runs on six hits.

Jerry Sands had two hits and drove in a run for the Dodgers.

The Kings beat the Phoenix Coyotes, 1-0, on a goal by Jarrett Stoll in the third period.

Kings goaltender Jonathan Bernier made 25 saves for the shutout.

Next up for the Kings are the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday at Staples Center. Listen to the game on AM 1220, KHTS. The puck drops at 1.
