The Master’s College Men’s Soccer Team Stays Undefeated

news_sportsThe Master’s College men’s soccer team improved to 4-0 with a 3-0 win over Cal State San Marcos on Saturday.

David Alegria, Joel Peluffo and Jader Santos scored for The Master’s College and Kevin Lawson made three saves to  record the shutout.

The College of the Canyons women’s soccer team won, 2-1, over Chaffey College on Friday. Sarina Coutin and Ashley Hill scored for COC (1-1).

Erin Fyfe assisted on Hill’s goal. Emma Wright received a yellow card in the game and Carolina Dozal made eight saves for COC.

The high school football season did not start out so well for Hart and West Ranch.

Hart lost to El Camino Real, 33-28, and West Ranch lost to Hueneme, 10-8, on Friday night. For Hart, it was the first time in school history the team has lost to El Camino Real. It was only the second time in school history Hart has lost to a City Section team.

After taking an 8-7 lead, West Ranch lost its game when Hueneme kicked a field goal with 44 seconds left in the game.

At least College of the Canyons started its football season with a win. COC beat Antelope Valley College, 27-17, on Saturday.
