The Master’s College women’s soccer team, ranked No. 21 in the NAIA, beat Hope International, 2-1 in double overtime.
Natasha Coyle scored the game winner in the 107th minute. It was her ninth goal of the season.
Lauren Fretz scored her first goal of the season in the second half to tie the score at 1-1.
In high school golf, the West Ranch girls beat Arcadia by four strokes, 215-219, in a match at Santa Anita Golf Course.
West Ranch freshman Julie Ward shot the low round of the match at 2-over par 39. Sarah Hong was 6-over par at 43 and Ally Hall was 7-over par at 44.

The United States Tennis Association and the Santa Clarita Valley Tennis Aces are hosting a block party at College of the Canyons on Sunday. The event is free and includes exhibition matches between the Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine tennis teams.
The tennis block party starts at 11 in the morning at the COC tennnis courts.
The Valencia Flyers ice hockey team won their first game of the season, 5-2, over the Long Beach Bombers. The Flyers were winless in their first six games of the season, going 0-4-2.
Sam Khongmuk scored two goals and Eddie Keshishian extended his six-game scoring streak with a goal in the second period.
The Flyers are home at the Ice Station for a weekend series against Long Beach starting on Friday night. The puck drops at 7:15.
In the NHL, the Kings are in New Jersey to play the Devils tonight. The Kings started the season in Europe. After winning their opener against the Rangers, the Kings lost to the Sabres, 4-2, on Saturday.
