The Master’s College Women’s Volleyball Team Opens Season With Two Wins

news_sportsThe Master’s College women’s volleyball team got off to a 2-2 start to the season this weekend in the Cougar Classic tournament at Azusa Pacific University.

The Master’s College women beat Holy Names University and Corban College of Oregon, but lost to Doane College from Nebraska and Westminster College from Utah.

 

Azusa Pacific, the host of the tournament, went a perfect 4-0, beating Corban, Mayville State from North Dakota, Holy Names and Eastern Oregon.

Next up for The Master’s College women’s volleyball team is Mt. Vernon Nazarene from Ohio on Wednesday. Game time is 7:30 at Bross Gymnasium on The Master’s College campus.
