The Valencia boys volleyball team is cruising through the Foothill League once again.
The Vikings swept Hart in three games, winning the third game, 27-25. Eric Ensing led Valencia with 21 kills and teammate Austin Csiszar had nine.
Hart’s Tanner Tengberg had 13 kills and two aces.
Valencia improved to 3-0 against Foothill League teams.
The West Ranch volleyball team beat Golden Valley in four games. Ben Davis had 14 kills for the Wildcats. Tanner Skablelund had 13 kills.

In high school tennis, the West Ranch boys narrowly defeated Hart, 10-8, and improved to 3-0 in the Foothill League standings. Baron Von Kessler, the No. 1 singles player for West Ranch, won all three of his sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-0.
The Saugus boys beat Golden Valley, 10-8, in a Foothill League match. Tristin Thierry won all three of his singles sets, 6-1, 6-1, 6-2.
In high school golf, the West Ranch boys beat Ventura by seven strokes in a match at the Wilson Golf Course in Griffith Park.
Isaac Kim and Casey May each shot 5-over 77s for West Ranch.
In high school baseball, Trinity beat Valley Torah, 11-4. Dakota Prochnow was 2-for-3, drove in three runs and stole three bases. He also pitched six inning and struck out 10.
In high school softball, Santa Clarita Christian’s Gabbi Watkins pitched and hit her team to a 20-3 win over Albert Einstein Academy. She drove in two runs, hit a double and was the winning pitcher.
In baseball, the Dodgers lost to the Chicago White Sox, 3-1, in spring training in Arizona. AJ Ellis knocked in the only run for the Dodgers. On a positive note, Aaron Harang pitched six strong innings, striking out six and giving up only one run on six hits.
In hockey, the Kings are in Edmonton for a game against the Oilers tonight. The Kings are coming off a much-needed 3-0 win over the Calgary Flames.
