[view:node_ad=5]On Friday night, the Valencia Vikings Boys Varsity Basketball team clinched the Foothill League title, with a 70-48 victory over the Canyon Cowboys, heard live on KHTS Friday night.The Vikings grabbed the title with a 57-53 victory by the Hart Indians over the Saugus Centurions. Valencia and Saugus were tied for the league lead going into the night.

In Girls Foothill action, Saugus knocked off Hart 53-37, splitting the league title between the two.  Canyon defeated Valencia 65-43, clinching third place in league, while West Ranch earned their first varsity win of the year by beating Golden Valley 66-64 in triple overtime.

KHTS will have coverage of the CIF playoffs, which will begin next week.
