Wednesday’s scoreboard:

Hart: 4

The Wildcats even the series at 1-1 thanks to a late rally and Evan Gellatly’s RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Surrendering leads late in games has been Hart’s issue this season and West Ranch pounced on it.

Rubber match is Friday at Hart.

Valencia: 7

Saugus: 4

Sophomore Owen Strader hit a three-run shot in the first inning, and the Vikings broke a 4-4 deadlock with a run in the fifth, sixth and seventh.

Lukas White pitched a complete game with six strikeouts.

Vikings go for the sweep over the Cents on Friday.

Canyon: 4

Golden Valley: 3

The Cowboys scored in the top of the seventh to slip past Golden Valley on the road and earn their fourth win in a row. Junior Steven Cornell picked up the win with 2.1 innings of scoreless work on the mound.
