West Ranch To Play Agoura For Valley Invitational Baseball League Championship

sportswestranchThe West Ranch baseball team advanced to the championship game of the Valley Invitational Baseball League with an 8-7 win over Crespi on Wednesday.

J.C. Cloney hit a solo home run, drove in two runs and scored twice for West Ranch.

Ryan Keller pitched five strong innings and left the game with a 5-1 lead, but Crespi rallied in the seventh inning for six runs.

Matt Blake came in to pitch in the bottom of the seventh for West Ranch and got the final three outs with runners on first and third.

West Ranch will play Agoura, 12-2 winners of Newbury Park, on Friday in the championship game of the summer baseball league at Birmingham High School.
