Ron Hornaday Jr., a driver from Palmdale and a Saugus Speedway late model champion, was sixth in the Truck Series race. Lance Hooper, a Saugus High graduate who also raced at Saugus Speedway, is driving in the Truck Series for Key Motorsports. His race in Fontana didn't end all that well. He was last.
