Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Seek Public Assistance In Locating Man Involved In Assault

Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are seeking public assistance in locating Joseph Carlos Beltran, a 22 year-old Hispanic male from the Castaic area. Carlos Beltran is alleged to have stolen gas by syphoning it from a vehicle. When the victim confronted the alleged suspect about why he was syphoning gas, the suspect reportedly used a writing pen in an attempt to stab the victim. 

This assault occurred on September 05, 2012. Carlos Beltran may be living in the Castaic area and is also a student at College of the Canyons. He also frequents the Canyon Country area. He may be driving a 1987 Mercedes Benz, white in color. 

If you know the whereabouts of Joseph Beltran, please contact Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121. (Reference Case #12568). Do not approach the suspect or attempt to apprehend.
