Los Angeles County is hosting a few family-friendly free events at its facilities in Castaic and Stevenson Ranch in the next few weeks.
On Saturday, a Halloween festival will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at Richard Rioux Park. The community is invited to enjoy game booths, jumpers, arts and crafts and more and kids age 14 years and younger can participate in a costume parade with prizes and gift certificates for scariest and most creative costumes.
The park is located at 26233 W. Faulkner Drive in Stevenson Ranch.

On October 30, a fall festival for all ages will be held at the Castaic Sports Complex that will offer a unique trick-or-treating opportunity. From noon to 4 p.m., adults are invited to decorate their cars and pass out candy from the trunk, with prizes awarded for the best-decorated cars. There will be a costume contest as well. Admission is free.

Skateboarders are invited to participate in the Expression Session II event from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 13 at Richard Rioux Park in Stevenson Ranch. Local skateboarders will demonstrate what can be done with portable skateboard equipment and compete for prizes. All ages are welcome. There will be music, games and more.
All contestants must wear a helmet and have a signed waiver to participate.
