School Officials Warn Parents Of Suspicious Person In Newhall

Hart High School and Placerita Junior High issued a warning to parents today regarding a “very suspicious person [who] has approached both elementary and high school students in the Newhall area during the past two days the end of the school day.”

The suspect was described as a “tall, thin, African-American male in his 20s.”

The suspect is still at large, but the Sheriff’s Department is working to ensure the safety of students after school.

While no students have been harmed, parents and students are encouraged to take extra precautions and travel in pairs or groups on the way to and from school.
