New VP of Finance brought on.
[view:node_ad=5]President and CEO of the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce Larry G. Mankin announced that he has hired Lisa Baker as the new VP of Finance and Operations for the organization. Ms. Baker has served as the Controller for the organization on a part-time basis since 2006.
Baker graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BS Degree in Health Administration in 1991. She held a position with one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations for a total of seven years and was the controller for its PPO division for five of those years.
Mankin stated, “We are truly excited to have a person with Ms. Bakers extensive background in finance and business management serving the Chamber and the community. She brings many years of experience to the organization.” Mankin further stated, “Lisa will now have the responsibility of managing the operational and business side of the Chamber, as well as contract development and overview, staff management and finance.”
Baker has been married to her husband, Rick, for the past eighteen years. They have two daughters, Julia and Allison.
The Chamber is the largest business association in the Santa Clarita Valley and one of the largest business groups in southern California with a member base of 1,750 businesses.
