A brush fire has spread to five acres in Sylmar after a vehicle fell of the embankment of the 5 Freeway and engulfed in flames.

UPDATE: Knockdown has been declared, less than 90 minutes after the start of the blaze, according to fire officials.
Two separate spot fires were ignited near the Northbound 5 Freeway at Roxford Street growing to at least 5 acres in size, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The brush fire then spread to the Southbound side of the freeway, according to the LAFD.
At least one commercial building, a concrete tilt-up, is threatened but not an immediate threat, officials said.
The No. 5 and 6 lanes are closed on the Northbound I-5 as crews fight the fire, according to CHP.
The bulk of the has been fire knocked down, helicopters continue providing critical water drops. No structures damaged and no injuries have been reported by the LAFD.
