Firefighters contained a 2-acre brush fire in Castaic Monday afternoon that threatened at least one structure.

UPDATE: 3:35 p.m.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., fire officials said, forward progress had been stopped on the fire, and crews were working to put a hose line around the burn area.
Nobody was injured in the fire and no structures were destroyed.
3:25 p.m.:
The original call came in at 2:43 p.m., said Fire Inspector Medina with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The fire ignited near the intersection of Hasley Canyon Rd. and Oak Canyon Rd.
“A reported two acre brush fire,” he said, “with a possible threat to one structure.”
