A car fire was extinguished by firefighters without spreading to any brush or buildings on Soledad Canyon Road Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire broke out around 7:53 a.m., according to Vanessa Lozano, a spokeswoman for the fire department. But within ten minutes, firefighters had a handle on the blaze.
The car burned on Soledad Canyon Road near Valley Center Drive, the short street connecting Soledad Canyon Road to Golden Valley Road.
