4:45 p.m. Update: Fire officials have called off nearly all evacuations related to the Creek Fire Thursday evening. Limekiln Canyon is the only neighborhood that is still under an evacuation order.

All other neighborhoods are accessible to residents. Officials urged returning residents Thursday to drive slowly and carefully, and report any damaged power lines as soon as possible.

Fire officials gave an updated estimate of the Creek Fire’s size Thursday morning, confirming estimates from Wednesday night that the fire was at 12,605 acres.

However, they provided good news during the 7 a.m. news conference, saying the Creek Fire was 10 percent contained despite high winds throughout southern California.
